They immediately gave her IV and pain medication and went to do surgery all over again.

This clinic is OK for a small town large animal setting but when it comes to small animals, they don't have very good services. I took my dog here when she drank from a puddle that had fertilizer in it. They gave her a shot and sent her home. She was completely limp and unresponsive and I thought she was going to die. I took her back a couple hours later and all they did was give her another shot and sent her home again. She ended up surviving this ordeal but I switched vets because I was fed up with their complete lack of concern for my dog. My new vet told me that they should have hospitalized her with IV's and that I'm really lucky she survived.

Please help him

What is so horrifying if this whole thing is; the incision only needed to be 2-3in long in her belly. Not from her rib cage to genitals. She was a large cat.

She is alive and well today, however the ramifications of the mad scientist surgical work; she will need again in a few years to remove the masses of scare tissue off her belly.

She was in so much pain I took her to another vet that was disgusted at his work.

I am internally grateful of the vet clinic in Hastings Ne. Clean, reasonable, well operated establishment.

She was in so much distress and had to have extra skin removed from her belly that she needed serious recovery time. They did inform us that we may lose her, but she pulled through.

If I could give a sliver of a star I would, or none at all. 2yrs ago my cat was brought in for a spay. Instead if making a small incision on her belly, she was cut from rib cage to genital. Thats not the half if it, then when returning home with her, she was consistently crying and wanting us to look at her belly. She had two areas where the stitches blew out, not once three times. The clinic was not clean and smelled. Never have I experienced a vet do unclean. He had no regards to how she felt and just kept stitching her up. The third time he stitched her up, she looked at mother and just cried. Like "help me!" She didn't fight him, he strapped her legs up. Figured she was in to much pain to fight.

Please keep us posted on the abandoned dog that was brought in to u today Nancy Savage brot in

I would NOT by any circumstances recommend this vet. Please take your large and small animals, somewhere else.

Another time my horse cut it's leg open, and cut the artery which was squirting blood all over. It took 45 minutes for the vet to come out and all he did was wrap the leg without cleaning it out or anything. Afterwards someone else told me it should have had stitches but instead my horse had a ton of scarring once the leg healed.
